I've been playing this course for 15 years. It's in the City and I live in, Lancaster. I seldom go elsewhere to play unless I'm on vacation.

I played The Golf Club of Dallas (Oak Cliff Country Club) today the 25th of January 2017 and can say that course was very easy to play compared to Country View and GCD which has hosted the Bryon Nelson in the past.

Meaning that Country View provides difficult obstacles to overcome while playing the layout of the course and that translates into very easy play at other courses like today. A lot of courses are easy because they are open and flat to play which means mistakes can be forgiven. Country View will make you pay for your mistakes therefore this course forces you to make this shot, the next shot, and the putt. Great Course to Play and would recommend you to play and the 4 for 40.00 price cannot be beat anywhere thanks to David R. course pro. 972-227-0995 Pro Shop.

Forgot to mention I played a course in Jacksonville Tx. about 4 months and shot a 72, a 72! Funny thing is that I kept thinking about Country View while playing Jacksonville telling myself that, Damn.....I'm playing great today and it's because of my play at Country View.

Greens are very fast which allows for us to see what the pros go through on tour. Some tough holes and others are fairly easy. Undulations on greens are both big and small and you need to play your best to score well.

the course is in great shape. they have done a great job. they have great specials on price to get people the play. currently they have a 25 dollar special w/coupon to play which includes cart, great Hamburger, chips and drink.

Most improved course "overall" in my opinion. Best burger deal in the metro............greens are "excellent" bring your a game too.

David Royar has done an excellent job with revitalizing the course. Cosmetic changes are coming around and will really pay big dividends once everything is grown in. The biggest and best change was putting in the new Champion Bermuda greens. I would rank them as being ranked among the best in the DFW area...Hands down.
